Day 1: Cusco - Ollantaytambo - Pumamarca
Transfer from your hotel to the Pallata area or start of the hike from the Plaza de Armas in Ollantaytambo.
Visit to Pumamarca: Explore this walled pre-Inca and Inca fortress. Highlights include its dwellings, granaries, and panoramic views of the Patacancha Valley.
Descent Hike: Return on foot to Ollantaytambo (approx. 6-7 km) passing by the Media Luna agricultural terraces.
Lunch: Free time in the town of Ollantaytambo to enjoy local cuisine or a pachamanca at nearby organic farms.
